Satellite Imagery

GeoNorth Information Systems offers a broad range of satellite imagery products and services, including Electro-Optical (EO) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery for any location, foreign or domestic. Our imagery products range in resolution from 25cm up to 40m and we offer an extensive archive dating back 30+ years. Additionally, we offer new imagery acquisitions with priority tasking and timely processing & delivery via our multi-mission Direct Receiving Station (DRS), based at the Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF) in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Digital Elevation Models

Our DEM products include both Digital Surface Models (DSM) and Digital Terrain Models (DTM), as well as a variety of ancilliary supporting layers. We offer a wide-variety of resolutions and accuracies to meet a broad range of technical requirements and budgets. Additionally, we offer WorldDEM products, a global, SAR-derived DEM that provides 12m resolution DSM and DTM products of excellent quality and accuracy.

Tailored Acquisition & Subscription Services

Because GeoNorth Information Systems owns and operates its own multi-mission DRS, capable of tasking, collecting and processing both EO and SAR imagery, we can tailor acquisition schedules and automate workflows to meet a broad range of client needs regardless of the area of interest or application.

Application Specific Monitoring

Situational awareness can vary greatly depending upon our client’s application and area of interest. Because GeoNorth Information Systems is able to tailor acquisition planning using a broad range of EO and SAR satellites, we develop application specific monitoring solutions for a broad range of clients and applications, including infrastructure, energy, environment, national security and much more.

Unique SAR-Based Products and Services

SAR offers an all-weather, day/night data acquisition capability supporting a broad range of applications that require precision and accuracy. While some users are not highly experienced with exploiting SAR data, GeoNorth Information Systems brings many years of experience working with SAR and its derived products and services. We work with our clients to help them understand how they can leverage SAR’s unique capabilities to monitor, detect and precisely measure their way to situational awareness.

Value-Added Products and Services

GeoNorth Information Systems provides value-added processing and production capabilities including orthomosaics and similar industry-standard image-based products. We also offer services for serving imagery and related products to users via industry standards such as OGC-compliant Web Mapping Services (WMS).
