The State of Alaska has awarded GeoNorth Information Systems, LLC of Anchorage, Alaska a multi-year contract to deliver geospatial imagery and related, technical support services. Under this contract, GNIS will deliver Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)-compatible, image streaming services, such as Web Mapping Services (WMS) and Web Mapping Tile Services (WMTS) to the general public, as well as technical support and related data provisioning services.
